Every year when winter time hits and the snow begins to fly, our front yard becomes one massive snow drift which is great for the kids to play in but a huge pain for us to try to park and it takes forever for it to all melt in the spring! This spring we are planning to plant a natural windbreak of trees in our Horse Lot to not only keep giant drifts out of our yard but provide extra shelter for my loved horses! Also we are planning to raise a few Guinea Hens this spring as well! They will live in our natural windbreak as it grows. I would love nothing more than to say that my Big Sky Momma blog is the reason why we have a beautiful windbreak for our home, my horses, and our smaller animals!
